Information about Reckmann GmbH’s Calibration Laboratory

As a manufacturer of quality temperature sensors,
Reckmann GmbH has many years’ experience in the field of temperature measurement
technology, implementing this experience single-mindedly and successfully within
sensor calibration technology. On a surface area of over 110 m2, Reckmann GmbH
operates a calibration laboratory that is fitted with outstanding technical
equipment and has a laboratory team boasting first-class training and
experience. A combination of technology, know-how, team spirit and close
customer relations lays the basic foundation for optimal calibration results
with the highest precision and smallest measurement misgivings in the interests
of the customer and their application. Sophisticated and standard
calibration assignments are executed rapidly and with a focus on results, with
due regard for the customer’s requirements and objectives.
The extensive technical calibration equipment
includes the following::
- Tin, zinc, aluminium, silver, gallium fixed-point
cells and water triple point cells
- Calibration tube furnaces from renowned manufacturers
- Liquid calibration baths and salt baths
- Precision measuring equipment for thermocouple assemblies and resistance
thermometers
- Precision simulators for thermoelectric voltage and resistance
The calibration laboratory is managed in accordance with
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. All testing and measuring equipment is
regularly calibrated with traceability to national and
international standards. In 2002, the calibration laboratory was accredited by
the DKD (German Calibration Service) for the measurement category
of temperature under registration number DKD-K-31701. The
accreditation scope was significantly extended again in 2007, enabling calibrations
to be performed with both DKD and proprietary certificates.
